|velasa||04:52 pm - Looking for info on a card|
I found a tarot card in a book I borrowed from the library a month ago. I've been curious as to it's meaning for a while now, whether it has any pertnance to the story and was left there with purpose or whether someone just picked out a random card as a bookmark and forgot it.
I don't know the style or anything, just that it was made in '71 by US Games. Can anybody help me with this?
Thank you for your time.

*chuckles vaugely* Ah, but as it came with the book I thought it should stay with it. I fitted it back into the page I found it when I returned it this afternoon. I have other places to delve strength from, and it just felt like the right thing to do.
Thank you though. I gathered the jist of it was strength in general, but I'm guessing there aren't any particular subtilities?
Here is something I wrote on the card a while back:
A woman calmly opens the jaws of a lion. The lion licks her hand, holding his tail submissively between his legs. Above the woman’s head is the same infinity halo as the Magician bears, along with lots of roses as he had. Maybe he had some effect on this woman, or she on him? She seems to be more about tolerance and caring, strong but still able to have empathy for others.
Behind her in the distance, a mountain rises up into the sky. If I see this as tied to the infinity symbol over her head, meaning infinite patience and the strength of a mountain. The lion seems to represent an adversary or problem, one that can be easily understood/conquered by understanding and patience. This woman has inner strength. She doesn’t use her muscles on the lion, but her heart.
